Our School
Scott L. Libby Elementary School opened in 1976 as the second school in the Litchfield Elementary School District serving mostly rural communities. The Scott Libby staff serves approximately 500 students in Preschool through 5th grades, including 5 self-contained special education classrooms. Scott Libby is an A rated school with an A+ designation from the Arizona Education Foundation and consistently earns high performance ratings from the Arizona Department of Education.
Gates open at 7:50 am and close at 8:10 am. Students who arrive after 8:10 am will check in through the front office. Class starts at 8:15 am. Dismissal is at 3:00 pm. On early release days, dismissal will be at 1:00 pm.
We are a closed campus for safety purposes. Parents will not be able to enter the gates and walk their children to class (***except for Kindergarten parents on the 1st day of school only). We will have many staff members on duty to help safely direct and escort students to their classrooms.
Students will report directly to their homeroom classroom unless they choose to eat breakfast in our cafeteria. Students who are attending an organized and supervised activity outside those hours are allowed on campus under the guidance of the adult sponsoring that activity and transportation will be the responsibility of the family.
